We visited my old stomping grounds of Duluth, Minnesota, staying in a cabin on Lake Superior's North Shore in early July. It's normally foggy and cool by the lake, but things behaved - sunny and 70's in the day, 50's at night. It's still unspoiled by development and thus relaxing. We hiked, built campfires, roasted wieners, and scouted for agates. We kept jackets handy, though - it turns cold fast. Here are postcards from the Great North.
