We visited Washington, DC in early April. Kristi and I both love American history and the kids love any hotel with a pool, so it was a match. My favorite was Robert E. Lee's home, located at Arlington National Cemetery with a great view of DC (refresher: Lee's Arlington estate was confiscated by the US Government, then later made into Arlington National Cemetery). Thanks to Kristi's list, the camera made it into the van. Here's a slideshow, starting with interior shots of Lee's house and views of Arlington Cemetery.
